Proving Yourself to You

Recently I have just moved back to Maryland from Arizona and it has been one of the hardest transitions I have been faced with. Of course it is amazing to be connected with family and friends again, but I feel exhausted from going through such a drastic change. But, there are so many things I have learned from traveling alone and going on a complete solo journey to the opposite side of the country. I used to be in a space where I was simply waiting for life to happen. I was unhappy in several parts of my life and just figured that's how it was supposed to be. It was not until I separated myself from these negative energies that I was able to pursue the life that I desired and wanted for myself. Often we feel trapped within routines and comfortable environments which fade to being dull and lead us searching for that missing piece in substances and people. This is extremely common living in our isolated lives separated by social media and technology. I recently read that Gen Z and Millennials are the most isolated generation in history. It is far too easy to find ourselves hopping on the explore page and seeing others living the free spirited life that we want but think that we can never have.

The purpose of this post is to tell you that you are able to achieve the life that you want. I have done a lot of research in my free time looking into manifestation, resolutions, and different ways on how to achieve the things you want.

1) Don't overthink it. Often the things we are searching for are very simple things. Love, happiness, time, etc. Yes these are singular words in which one is looking for, but what does that look like specifically for you?

2) This is where the brainstorming comes in. Start diving into yourself. On most days we are in autopilot, and just doing our daily tasks without even questioning if we even enjoy what we are doing. What are things you have always wanted to do?

3) Be honest with yourself. We are our biggest blockages when it comes to doing things. Some sample journal questions to finding deeper answers within ourselves might look like:

- What is getting in the way of doing things that I want to do?

- What beliefs do I withhold that are preventing me from living the life that I want for myself?

- Are other people's opinions influencing how I live my life?

- Is there a toxic person or habit in my life that is stopping me from making the choices that I want for myself?

- As a child, what were some things you wanted to do as an adult? Take some time to really think about this one. It is so important to go back and reconnect with our inner child and can also provide healing to childhood traumas or unhealed feelings and experiences.

4) Manifest. Manifestation is a real thing that is magically powerful. Take some time to look into this topic, there is seriously so much to learn. When manifesting, it is so important to not come from a place of lack. So instead of saying, "I WANT to travel", say "I AM traveling right now". Obviously in this state you are not currently traveling, but you are convincing your subconscious mind that are in a point in your life where you are traveling. The phrase "fake it til you make it" is such a big part of manifestation. If you do not believe you are traveling, then you simply will not. But, if you are constantly saying to yourself that are in fact traveling in this moment, then your mind will slowly start to believe it. This could look like starting to say yes to more traveling opportunities, making a separate savings account for traveling, or simply creating dreams boards for the places you are planning on going within your manifestation goals. This is just an example with traveling, but can be applied to anything you are trying to attract into your life. This can be love, health, wealth, friendships, etc.

Remember to take it one day at a time. You do not have to accomplish your dreams overnight, but starting is the important part.

Love always,

Kare
